Hot Yoga

Hot Yoga is practiced in a heated studio ranging in temperature from between 30-50 degrees Celsius (85 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit

Benefits of yoga practiced in a heated room:

 

  • increases the pulse and the body burns more calories helping to maintain proper weight
  • distributes oxygen more effectively to muscles, glands, organs and other tissues, helping to remove toxins
  • allows participants to safely come into deeper poses or stretches as the muscles are already warm, helping to tone the muscles

Not recommended if you suffer from high or low blood pressure, breathing difficulties, heart conditions or diabetes.
